On April 3, Vice President Leni Robredo trended on social media after several netizens saw the presidential aspirant eating at a fast-food restaurant at La Salle.
Reports further revealed that the manager of ArmyNavy-La Salle branch offered to treat VP Robredo to a free meal.
The Vice President refused and insisted that she preferred paying for her food at the celebrity-owned establishment.
As a result, netizens praised VP Robredo for her simplicity and humility despite being a presidential candidate.
