Senator Robin Padilla confirmed he would end his showbiz career.
On May 18, during the proclamation of winning senators in the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Padilla shared that he would be retiring from showbiz.
Padilla revealed that his pending movie project about the Marawi will be his final act before working full time in the Senate.
Mistah 2 is the working title of Padilla’s movie project that started filming in 2018 but halted due to changes in the story and the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Hindi pwedeng di matuloy yon kasi marami nabitin dun, nagkapandemya, nag-umpisa pa kampanya kaya di agad pwedeng gawin.
“Kailangang gawin yon kasi history natin yon,” he shared.
Padilla revealed the committee he wants to lead in the Senate: constitutional reform, defense, and security.
He said he still could not believe that he was the number 1 elected senator according to the number of votes.
