Alex Diaz, thirsty for good governance

On May 26, actor Alex Diaz admitted his thirst for good governance.

During the media conference for his VivaMax movie, PaThirsty, Diaz listed the things he felt thirsty for in his life.

“Success, money, ipon, stability. Ah, good governance, thirsty tayo doon.”

Diaz also cited how his career had become a beacon for LGTBQIA+ representation.

“Honestly, at this point in my life, I feel like my career is so much more than–a personal thing. It’s become a beacon for a lot /of people who don’t see representation in the media. And for me, that gives me so much purpose.”

In 2019, Diaz experienced getting outed online without his consent. Instead of denying the truth, the actor embraced his sexuality and identified himself as bisexual.

Diaz also shared what to expect with his role in his upcoming movie, PaThirsty, a spin-off movie for the Gameboys series that follows Achilles (Kych Minemoto) and Pearl (Adrianna So).

“What you can expect from me in this movie–one is my ass. You’ll definitely going/ to see more of me that I’ve ever put on screen. Of course, with the trusted guidance of my director talaga.

“The sex scenes were something that we talked extensively about noong preparations pa lang. And I think it’s a mixture of trust with Direk Ivan– and a mixture of trust with my co-actors. So you guys are going to see very spicy love scenes, very/ honest chemistry.”

PaThirsty, directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, stars Adrianna So, Kych Minemoto, Alex Diaz, Chad Kinis, Bob Jbeili, and Kate Alejandrino.

The movie premieres on Vivamax Plus on June 1 and streams on Vivamax on June 29.
