Janine Gutierrez responded to a netizen who claimed that the actress would always involve the GMA Network in her interviews to promote herself further.
In a tweet on June 7, one netizen said that whenever Janine would have a new series or movie, she would mention the GMA Network in her interviews.
The netizen implied that Gutierrez uses her former home network to gain more popularity.

The netizen shared an article by Abante News where Janine mentioned that she previously auditioned for the role of Amihan in GMA’s Encantadia.
Janine then clarified that she [simply] shared one of the meant-to-be-moments in her career, which got asked during her interview.

“No disrespect! I was asked about meant-to-be moments in my career and I just talked about how this character, named Amihan rin, was the one meant for me pala. Super agree na good thing si Kylie yung naging Amihan sa Enca, super bagay & galing niya, lalo na action pa. Deserve,” said the actress.
Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla was the one who got the role of Amihan in Encantadia (2016).
Gutierrez will star in a movie with Paulo Avelino titled Ngayon Kaya. Prime Cruz directed the film. It will open in cinemas on June 22.
The actress transferred and officially became a Kapamilya on January 15, 2021. Before her transfer to Kapamilya network, she was with the GMA Network for about eight years.
