On July 22, Kapuso star Sanya Lopez remarked that she’s open to doing the Book 3 of First Yaya.
At the media conference for her single Hot Maria Clara, Lopez revealed she has been receiving questions from her fans about the third installment of the beloved Kapuso series.
“Marami po ang nagre-request ng Book 3 po, nakakatuwa nga kasi kahit nga noong Book 2, parang nandoon na agad sila sa Book 3 eh. Pero, kung ibibigay nga po sabi ko nga po sa kanila, kung ibibigay po, tanggapin natin, blessing po ‘yun.”
She then revealed that she has a future Kapuso project that will be released soon.
“Mayroon po silang– I mean GMA po, may niluluto po para sa akin. Ito na pong baka August, katapusan ng August or September po.
“Bawal pa raw po sabihin, kasi hindi pa ko nagsasabi kapag nag-start or nandoon na, so ganon pa din po.”
She also expressed excitement over the second book of her series streaming on Netflix.
“Excited po ako, mas excited ako kasi marami naman ng– maganda naman po ang naging resulta ng First Yayang pinalabas po sa atin dito, so I’m sure na matutuwa sila dito sa Netflix na ipapalabas po sa mga medyo naka-miss ng mga episodes ngayon, pwede ninyo ng balik-balikan ang mga episodes dito sa Netflix ngayon July 29 na po ‘yan.”
Lopez became one of the leading ladies of the Kapuso Network after her stellar performance in many GMA Network series, such as Encantadia, First Yaya, and First Lady.
As for Sanya’s first single, Hot Maria Clara, the song under GMA Music started streaming on digital music platforms on July 15, 2022.
