After ‘Return to Paradise’, Sparkle artist Elle Villanueva revealed she isn’t ready to do more sexy roles.
She emphasized, “Sa ngayon, hindi pa po. Kasi to be honest, conservative po kasi ‘yung family ko… I think hindi ako mag all out, as in may ‘nudity’. Parang hindi ko pa po kaya ‘yon.”
The young actress shared that at first, her family did not know that her first teleserye will be steamy and sexy; they just heard it on the news.
She explained, “But I think nasa right age naman na ako to do it. Of course, I need their permission pero alam naman din nila na I’m smart enough to know kung ano ‘yung kaya kong gawin, and ‘yung limitations ko.”
Despite putting a cap on the next roles she plans to take, the Kapuso actress admitted she’s fine with being labeled a “sexy star.”
Villanueva revealed that at first, her parents weren’t on board with her pursuing an acting career. But they eventually changed their mind.
She made her first TV appearance as a Kapuso in ‘A Scandalous Crime’ which is an episode of the real-life drama anthology Magpakailanman.
