Jayson Gainza is now a Kapuso as he recently officially signed a contract with the Network on November 22.
In his Instagram post on November 22, Gainza posted about his new career move and took the opportunity to thank the Kapuso management.
“Sa bagong yugto ng buhay ko salamat @gmanetwork @sparklegmaartistcenter sa aking Manager kuya Darryl at sa handler ko @rappalvarez sa pagaasikaso sa akin . Sa mga boss ng @gmanetwork salamat sa tiwala,” he said.
The comedian also thanked his former home network ABS-CBN.
“Maraming salamat din sa pinanggalingan kong istasyon @abscbn @starmagicphils kuya @alan_m_real #Mr.M @direklauren kung saan ako nagsimula malaki ang utang na loob konsa inyo salamat maraming salamat po,” he said.

Present at Gainza’s contract signing event were GMA executives Annette Gozon-Valdez (Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support), Joy Marcelo (Assistant Vice President for Talent Management), and Lawrence Tan (Consulting Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing).
He’s been with the ABS-CBN network since 2005. He was a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother‘s first season, where he won as the Second Big Placer.
He became a regular host in the Kapamilya comedy gag show Banana Sundae from 2009-2020. He also became part of Parekoy, Funny Ka, Pare Ko, Sunday Kada, and Home Sweetie Home.
