At the media conference for ‘An Affair to Forget’ on December 10, actors Allen Dizon and Sunshine Cruz gave career advice to their younger co-stars Karl Aquino and Angelica Cervantes.

Dizon reminded Aquino about being professional and working well with people from showbiz.

He also advised the young artist to remain diligent and to work hard.

As for Cruz, she recounted her conversation with Cervantes about her career path.

The actress shared, “Actually, nag-usap kami eh. Sinabi ko sa kaniya na this is really a big break for you, kasi ang ganda talaga ng kaniyang character, ng kaniyang role dito sa movie, and sabi ko nga dito been there, done that.”  She added, “…before, nag-sexy din ako, Ekis, Ms. Montero, ‘yung hindi natapos na Dukot Queen, so ang dami ko rin pinagdaanan na ganiyan, but you have just have to prove yourself na hindi lang pagpapa-sexy ang kaya mong i-offer.”

She also highlighted the value of remaining professional as an artist.

Cruz added, “…wag maging reklamador, kasi titignan ninyo ‘yung mga staff and crew, naiinitan, napapagod, and how much do they get? Tayo nakapayong, may tent, may airconditioned tent pa tayo, masarap pa ang pagkain natin, so we really just have to love our jobs,…mahalin natin at ibigay natin ‘yung 101% natin para sa lahat ng mga characters at trabaho na binibigay sa atin.”

Vivamax’s film directed by Louie Ignacio stars Sunshine Cruz, Allen Dizon, Karl Aquino, and Angelica Cervantes.

On December 23, you can watch the premiere of An Affair to Forget.
