Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre on December 23, expressed her excitement for Filipino cinemagoers to see their Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 entry, Deleter.
At the premiere night of Deleter, covered by LionhearTV, Lustre thanked everyone who attended the event and the team behind their MMFF2022 film.
“Maraming maraming salamat po, sobrang excited po kami na makita ninyo itong pelikula namin and of course, gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa Viva at sa buong team ng Deleter. Maraming salamat po, and I hope you enjoy the movie.”
Earlier, Lustre addressed the possibility of landing the best actress role with her portrayal in the said film.
“I guess ‘yung mga comments po from of course, the casuals na nakikita ko online. They’re really very impressed, just because they see me in a different way. Kasi, sanay po ‘yung mga tao na makita ako as, you know, someone na nagpapakilig, nagpapatawa, nagpapaiyak. So, this time it’s a different light.
“So tignan natin– ayaw ko po i-claim. Hindi po ako ganon. Tignan po natin kung anong mangyayari.
“But definitely, I did do my best. Kinareer ko po talaga ito kasi nga po sobrang excited nga po ako. Pero tignan po natin, kasi I’m sure marami rin pong magagandang MMFF entries. And I’m sure, maraming rin pong magagaling na ibang mga actresses.”
She also attested to the hardwork their team put into the horror film.
“I think for this film, talagang lahat po, proud kami kasi best foot forward po kami. ‘Yung buong effort namin, binigay namin. Katulad nga po ng sabi ko, dugo’t pawis, kape, ‘yun po talaga ‘yung binigay namin dito. So we’re very, very excited and we’re very, very proud of Deleter.”
Lustre stars in the MMFF2022 film Deleter with McCoy De Leon, Jeffrey Hidalgo, and Louise De Los Reyes. Directed by Mikhail Red and produced by Viva Films, Deleter opens on December 25, Christmas Day.
