Tom Rodriguez confessed that he wanted to end his life to escape his problems.
On December 1, on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog, Rodriguez stated he still does not have the plan to love again, saying his heart is still in-the- process-of-healing.
Rodriguez was asked if he still loves his wife Carla Abellana.
“Hindi naman nawawala ‘yun agad. It’s transforming into something else,” he said.
He was asked if the divorce he filed in the US has merit, considering he and his wife Abellana were married in the Philippines.
“We’re processing na rin naman the recognition sa Philippines to have it recognized also there to at least para both of us can truly be free,” he stated.
Rodriguez admitted he became depressed and reached the point of wanting to end his life.
“In recent months ang tindi ng depression ko dumating ako sa point na ganu’n na I thought that was the only way out,” he shared.
In January 2022, rumors surfaced online that Rodriguez and Abellana were getting annulled after netizens discovered that they both unfollowed each other on their social media accounts.
Rodriguez shared several cryptic posts on Instagram, hinting that he and Abellana are no longer together.
Rodriguez claimed a gag order prevented him from speaking the truth.
On June 16, Abellana broke her silence, revealing that she could no longer be with Rodriguez.
