Kapuso artist Lexi Gonzales admitted that she and Gil Cuerva are officially in a relationship with each other.
Gonzales and Cuerva currently star in the Kapuso drama series Underage. Gonzales previously admitted that Cuerva is courting her.
In an episode of Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast on January 24, Canlas asked about Gonzales’s suitor.
The 22-year-old GMA talent then revealed that Cuerva is no longer her suitor as their relationship already upgraded.
“Well, hindi na siya manliligaw ngayon. He’s on a… mas mataas na ‘yung [level] niya,” she said.
When Canlas pressed on their real status, Gonzales then admitted that she and Cuerva are “officially together.”
She then explained the characteristics that he liked about him.
“Persistent siya. Hindi siya ‘yung the type na… kasi tayong mga babae minsan, aminin na natin kahit minsan ang ibig sabihin natin yes, sasabihin natin no, ayoko, no. Pero hindi siya magsa-stop sa gano’n. Talagang masugid siya, talagang hindi siya titigil hangga’t hindi niya nakukuha sa akin ‘yung gusto ko sabihin.
“Pero ngayon we’re working on… siyempre kapag kayo na talaga diyan na ‘yung dapat maayos ‘yung communication. Hindi na puwede ‘yung, no means yes or yes means no, ‘di ba?” said Gonzales.
She also shared that Cuerva is someone, who she looks up to and can rely on.
“Genuine siya. He’s really smart and he takes the extra effort to guide me– I mean to teach me things kasi I’m younger. Parang madalas naman niyang sinasabi sa akin ‘yun. So he’s really there to help me. And not just that, but also someone I can really rely on,” she said.
Relationship rumors between Gonzales and Cuerva started in December 2022 when the actress posted that Cuerva is her 2022 plot twist.
