At the media conference for Mga Lihim ni Urduja on February 15, Kapuso star Jeric Gonzales expressed gratitude to GMA Network for including him in their newest mega-serye.
Gonzales thanked the Network for immediately giving him a project after working on Start-UP PH.
“I’m thankful to GMA Network, to our bosses, nandito po sila. Sila Miss Helen, sir Dennis and sa bumubuo ng Urduja thankful ako kasi after ng Start-Up PH, na isang malaking project din ito, kasama ako dito sa mga lihim ni Urduja na mega-serye.
“And to be with this cast, star-studded cast, isang malaking karangalan, of course.”
As for their action-adventure series, he attested to the production’s focus on creating quality Kapuso content.
“Itong [Mga Lihim ni] Urduja ang dami niya talagang surprises, kasi it’s not just a typical action series, ‘yun nga unang-una it’s about our legend Urduja dito sa Pilipinas. So it’s going to be interesting.
“And in terms of action, binigyan talaga ng time nila Direk and the whole team ‘yung bawat eksena dito. And nakita ninyo naman ‘yung likes and then the scenes are very great, so maganda po talaga ito.”
Mga Lihim ni Urduja stars Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia.
The action-adventure series also features Zoren Legaspi, Gonzales, Arra San Agustin, Vin Abrenica, Michelle Dee, Kristoffer Martin, Rochelle Pangilinan, Pancho Magno, Gina Pareño, and Sunshine Dizon.
Directed by Jorron Lee Monroy with Dominic Zapata and Ralf Malabunga, Mga Lihim ni Urduja premieres on February 27 on GMA Telebabad.
