On March 17, Kapuso star Miguel Tanfelix revealed how GMA Network is handling bashers of Voltes V: Legacy.
At the media conference for GMA Regional TV for Voltes V: Legacy in Davao City, Tanfelix noted that GMA Network knows how to listen to constructive criticisms from viewers.
“Ganito lang kasi ‘yan eh, ‘yung iba nangtri-trip lang. Gusto lang mang-bash, gusto lang may masabi lang ng negative sa show dahil mayroon silang bias or ganon, but ‘yung iba, criticisms talaga. And I think marunong naman makinig ‘yung GMA Network sa mga kung ano man–kung totoo ‘yung criticisms ng mga tao. ‘Yung katulad si Direk, ‘yung pinopost natin.”
He then encouraged the bashers to appreciate how the Kapuso Network is taking a risk and pushing the TV industry forward with Voltes V: Legacy.
“And sa mga nangba-bash, ang masasabi ko i-apppreciate na lang nila na mayroong kaming lakas ng loob na gumawa ng ganitong kalaking show na ang tagal na nating hindi nagri-risk ng ganito kalaki. ‘Yung National Television natin, so mayroon kaming guts na gumawa ng ganitong kalaking project dahil gusto naming mag-step forward ‘yung industry natin.”
He also assured the viewers how they portrayed their roles with nuances.
“‘Yung pagiging futuristic noong material, mga dagdag na lang ‘yun eh, dagdag nuances. Pero, mas mabuo mo ‘yung characters kailangan mong tumingin sa core, at mare-realize mo na hindi siya nalalayo sa mga nakakatabi mo araw-araw. So kailangan mo lang talaga mag-observe, so ‘yun ‘yung pinaka-mahirap, at pinaka-key para makabuo ka ng isang character.”
