Paolo Contis admitted that he did his ex-partner LJ Reyes wrong but people still don’t know the whole story.
In his interview with Nelson Canlas on April 24, Contis said that there were many factors involved in his breakup with Reyes.
The actor revealed, “Para sa akin I think it’s too personal. Maraming factors kung bakit napunta doon sa state ng naghiwalay kami. But I admit that I have made mistakes. Pero marami pang hindi alam ang tao about the whole picture.”
Contis and Reyes were together for 6 years before calling it quits in 2021. They have a daughter together named Summer. Contis is currently in a relationship with another actress, Yen Santos.
When asked about his relationship with Santos, the TV host said they are happy and keeping things private.
The actor explained, “I guess being in a quiet relationship, feeling ko mas may advantage. She’s a very private person. Walang comparison.”
He reiterated, “Again, people don’t know what happens behind closed doors. Kung ano man ‘yung nakita ko dati, iba rin ‘yung mga nakikita ko ngayon.”
Contis explained that they are keeping their relationship private because of how much people criticized them during the early stages of their relationship.
“Natuto na ako. And aminin na natin, there is too much hate for me to postings and parang sa akin, so what? As long as quiet ‘yung sa aming dalawa, then so be it,” he said.
Relationship rumors between Contis and Santos started in September 2021 when they were spotted in Baguio together. The actor just broke up with his 6-year girlfriend LJ Reyes, and he spent three days in the city with Santos’ company. Contis and Santos were spotted together multiple times like when netizens saw them in Baguio in September 2021. Reyes had already publicly admitted that her relationship with Contis was over at that point.
