On May 5, comedians MC Muah and Lassy Marquez clarified they had no issue with the poster for their upcoming film, ‘Beks of Our Lives’.
At the media conference for ‘Beks Days of our Lives’, which LionhearTV covered, reporters asked Muah and Marquez if they had problems with how their names appeared on the poster of their upcoming film.
Marquez first responded stating, “Sa amin po kasi wala talagang Billing.”
Muah added, “Sa akin po hindi ko po talaga napansin,” while jokingly noting, “Ay malamang baka mag-away kami niyan.”
Marquez then quipped, “Kasi si Chad may Kinis, si MC may Muah, ako wala. Pwede naman dugtungan na lang, –ration na lang, para Lassy-ration.”
Muah then explained that they would have preferred that Chad Kinis had a more prominent billing on the poster since he directed the film.
He reiterated, “Wala wala po talaga sa billing ‘yan. Ako nga mas gusto ko nga pwedeng may ‘and’ si Chad kasi siya ‘yung director ng pelikula. Pero wala talaga, basta ang importante, maraming manood ng pelikula at magandahan sila sa movie.”
Muah also highlighted how their group, Beks Batallion, promised to support each other’s achievements. He shared, “Kami umpisa pa lang ng grupo namin, nagsabihan na kami na walang tututol sa pag-grow ng bawat isa. Kahit hindi kaming tatlo ang magkakasama sa isang pelikula or sa kung saan mang show ‘yan na nasa TV, or sa raket, basta ikaka-asenso ng isa, full support dapat.
“So ‘yung sinabi niya na gusto niya mag-direk, sabi namin, go, wala tayong pag-uusapan sa TF, pero mali pala ‘yun. Hindi charot. Sa amin talaga, wala sa amin kung siya ‘yung director siya ‘yung mas umasenso basta matupad namin ‘yung bawat pangarap ng bawat isa, okay sa amin ‘yun.”
Muah, Marquez, and Kinis star in the heartwarming comedy film ‘Beks Days of Our Lives’.
Joining the comedic trio are John ‘Sweet’ Lapus, Debbie Garcia, Ruby Ruiz, John Flores, Pepita Curtis, Divine Tetay, Tonton Soriano, Axel Torres, Kirst Viray, Yuki Zakamoto, and Raven Molina.
From May 17, ‘Beks Days of Our Lives’ will be in cinemas nationwide under the direction of Kinis.
