On April 14, Katya Santos and Maui Taylor discussed the differences between their generation and the younger generation of sexy stars.

At the media conference for ‘Pantaxa: Laiya’, which LionhearTV covered, Santos and Taylor first discussed what they thought of the aspiring sexy stars who joined ‘Pantaxa: Laiya’.

Santos said, “First of all, talagang nahirapan talaga kami sa kanila but in a good way kasi mababait po silang lahat. So hindi namin talagang makuhang makahanap ng way para magkaroon tayo ng chance na bigyan natin ng mas– na mabigyan ng thrill ‘yung Pantaxa, ‘yung story. But lahat po sila sobrang palaban.”

Taylor added, “Actually, lahat ng mga girls na ‘to, for me ha, kung ako ang papipiliin ninyo, mako-consider ko na sila lahat as winners eh, ngayon pa lang. Especially, nakita ko ‘yung transformation kasi nila eh, from the time that we are shooting, tapos after, and then ngayon nakita ko nanaman sila, so makikita mo talaga ‘yung– pagiging star quallity bigla.”

Santos then cited how the contestants reminded her of their days as Viva Hot Babes.

Taylor noted the contestant’s friendships and similarities to their girl group.

Santos then surmised how sensitive the younger generations of sexy stars are today.

“Medyo sensitive sila, tapos sila ‘yung maraming issues, not personally no, but because of what’s happening around no, socially, kasi may social media, sila talagang nakaka-experience noong maraming panget na– maraming disadvantages ang social media. So sinabi namin sa kanila, na pagdating sabuhay, kailangan hindi laging sensitive. Kailangan tatagan ‘yung sarili.”

Taylor agreed, describing the younger generation of sexy stars as ‘Snowflakes.’ She added, “Whatever they see, don’t let it affect you. At the same time, ayun na nga, ang generation ngayon, ang tawag ko sa kanila Snowflake. Ang hilig nila umiyak, hindi ko alam kung bakit. Kasi, ang buhay hindi naman siya about giving up. It’s about learning how to fight, and using that as your stepping stone para lalo ka pang tumatag as a person.”

As for ‘Pantaxa: Laiya’, the digital reality show features eight women competing through physical, mental, sensual, and sexual challenges.

The eight contestants include Angelica Hart (The Hypebae), Audrey Avila (The Rebel Chick), Aiko Garcia ( Pretty Young Thing), Apple Dee (Expensive and Forbidden Fruit), Aria Bench (Funny Honey), Aila Cruz (Southern Spice), Armina Alegre (Pure Girl Love), and Cess Garcia (Mysterious Candy).

Hosting the reality TV show are Viva stars Rose Van Ginkel and Wilbert Ross, with mentors Katya Santos and Maui Taylor.

The sensual reality show also features Viva artists Ayanna Misola, Angeli Khang, Nico Locco, Yuki Sakamoto, and Massimo Scofield.

On April 23, 2023, Vivamax will stream “Pantaxa: Laiya,” directed by Paul Basinilio.
