Two Kapuso afternoon shows continue to make waves in the ratings game, even beating other primetime series.
‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap’ and ‘Arabella’ continue to post impressive ratings, even higher than those programs airing in the audience-rich primetime block.
On Monday, June 12, AKNP registered an 11.8 percent rating and landed 4th, higher than its fellow Kapuso primetime counterparts, Heart on Ice, which ranked 6th at 10.1 percent, and Unbreak My Heart, in 10th place with 6.3 percent.
Likewise, Arabella achieved a rating of 11.7 percent, claiming the 5th spot in the rating chart.
On the following day, Tuesday, June 13, AKNP and Arabella retained their lead at 4th and 5th spots, respectively, with 10.4 and 10.1 percent rating.
Meanwhile, Kapuso telebabad series Hearts On Ice and Unbreak My Heart, scored 9.1 percent and 6.4 percent, respectively.
These ratings indicate that a larger number of Kapuso viewers are more engaged during daytime than at primetime. This observation suggests that GMA Network’s afternoon lineup holds greater appeal and captivates audiences more than its telebabad counterparts.
