On May 26, actor-senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr admitted that he fears when he doesn’t feel nervous about a project.

At the media conference for Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis, which LionhearTV covered, Revilla noted that if he feels nervous about a project, it means it has a good quality.

“I’m very, very excited. Pero, nandoon pa rin ‘yung kaba no na. Natural na sa akin ‘yun. Kapag hindi na ako kinabahan mas natatakot ako nun. Kapag kinakabahan ako, sa tingin ko maganda ‘yung ginagawa natin.”

He also thanked GMA Network, his co-stars, and the team behind the upcoming Kapuso comedy series for their commitment and hard work on the project.

“So, I’m very thankful sa lahat ng bumubuo ng GMA Network, sa ating mga director, kay Enzo, kay Frasco, sa buong cast. Of course, kay Beauty ang galing galing niya. nagampanan niya ‘yung role niya bilang Gloria. And of course, si Max same, and si Tiya Lucing, Miss Carmi, ang galing din. So actually lahat sila, nag-fit doon sa role.”

Revilla then surmised that the TV adaptation of his two films, Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis (1994) and Yes Darling: Walang Matigas na Pulis 2 (1997), would either measure up or surpass its predecessors.

“At siyempre dalawang matigas na pulis ang ginawang pelikula no. And then ngayon, ilalagay natin sa telebisyon, mapapanood ng mga tao. Hindi natin maiiwasan na maico-compare doon sa movie. Pero sa tingin ko, kung di man mapantayan, malagpasan pa. So ganon, that’s why ninenerbyos ako, nandoon pa rin ‘yung kaba, pero naniniwala ako na maiibigan ito ng ating mga manonood.”

As for their upcoming Kapuso comedy series, Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis stars Revilla, Beauty Gonzalez, Max Collins, Kate Valdez, Raphael Landicho, Kelvin Miranda, and Carmi Martin.

The cast also features the newcomer Angel Leighton with the stellar cast of Niño Muhlach, ER Ejercito, Ronnie Ricketts, Maey Bautista, Archie Alemania, Dennis Marasigan, Jeric Raval, Bembol Roco, Maey Bautista, and Nikko Co.

Under the direction of Enzo Williams with the associate director Frasco Mortiz, Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis airs on June 4 via GMA Network.
