On May 26, Kapuso stars Kelvin Miranda and Kate Valdez discussed how their love team prevailed from ‘Unica Hija’ to Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis.
At the media conference for Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis, which LionhearTV covered, Valdez felt happy working with Miranda on a comedy project after doing the drama-filled series Unica Hija.
“Ako masaya po ako kasi dito light naman po ‘yun, di naman po kami mag-iiyakan. Kasi ‘yung sa Unica Hija grabe, laging sobrang bibigat lagi ng ginagawa naming eksena, so dito, masaya ako dahil light and kinikilig lang. So ayun, pahinga muna ako sa kakaiyak po. And I’m happy to work with him again.”
On the other hand, Miranda cited how comfortable he and Valdez were with each other when entering the Kapuso comedy series.
“Siyempre, ganon nga, mas komportable nga, kasi andon na ‘yung love team namin ‘yun. Mas kabisado na namin ‘yung isa’t isa. Alam nanamin ‘yung dynamics, ‘yung formula, kung paano magwo-work ‘yung scene. So mas masaya kasi mas madali na ‘yung work namin ngayon.”
As for their Kapuso comedy series, Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis stars actor-senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr, Beauty Gonzalez, Max Collins, Valdez, Raphael Landicho, Miranda, and Carmi Martin.
The cast features newcomer Angel Leighton with other talented artists such as Niño Muhlach, ER Ejercito, Ronnie Ricketts, Maey Bautista, Archie Alemania, Dennis Marasigan, Jeric Raval, Bembol Roco, Maey Bautista, and Nikko Co.
Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis, under the direction of Enzo Williams with the associate director Frasco Mortiz, airs on June 4 via GMA Network.
