On May 20 during their regional mediacon in Matina, Davao City, Mikael Daez and Megan Young expressed their thoughts on the groundbreaking collaboration between rival networks GMA Network and ABS-CBN for the highly anticipated series, “Unbreak My Heart.”
This unprecedented partnership has caught the attention of the public.
“Royal Blood,” the gripping family drama, features a star-studded cast, including Dingdong Dantes, Dion Ignacio, Mikael Daez, Megan Young, Lianne Valentin, and Rhian Ramos. Adding more star power to the mix is the inclusion of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, along with seasoned actors Benjie Paras, Arthur Solinap, and the iconic Tirso Cruz III.
During the press conference for their upcoming GMA TV series, Daez, who plays a significant role in “Royal Blood,” shared his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “I think it’s very exciting, I think it opens up new things na pwedeng gawin. I think everyone is also gigil na gigil na ilabas yung creativity nila, so I think moving forward, you can really expect Philippine Cinema, Philippine Television to push the boundaries and really explore that would lead to amazing things for the industry.”
Adding her voice to the discussion, the talented actress Megan Young expressed her support for the collaboration. “I think Mikael speaks for everyone. From an outsider’s point of view, you really see it as rivals, but from an artist’s point of view, it’s healthy competition,” she stated.
