Mercato Centrale, the leading outdoor food lifestyle market in the Philippines, announced its highly anticipated return to the south, in partnership with Lifemalls by Filinvest. The collaboration kicked off with the grand launch of the “Food Festival by Mercato Centrale ” at Festival Mall Alabang, the inaugural Lifemall to host the food market.

RJ Ledesma, founder of Mercato Centrale, stated that this strategic alliance was envisioned to make Mercato Centrale a staple presence across all Lifemalls by Filinvest, creating a blend of culinary delights and engaging outdoor food experience for mall-goers.

“Lifemalls by Filinvest have consistently shown strong support for both business growth and community development, which is why we’re delighted to collaborate with them. This provides us with an opportunity to continue our advocacy of supporting micro and small food enterprises,” said Ledesma.

“Food Festival by Mercato Centrale ” offers a unique dining experience at Festival Mall with live music performances from their hand picked buskers. The food booths are conveniently located at the mall’s Water Garden Park, allowing diners to enjoy their meals amidst nature.

The food market features 15 to 20 food booths offering diverse cuisines including Korean, Japanese, Indian, and Middle Eastern. The participating merchants and vendors comprised of Bagnet Patong, Uncle Kim’s, Moyumie Shawarma, Chicago, Steak Garage, JD’s Takoyaki, Supreme Hungarian, For Heaven’s Shake, City of Drinks, El Angelicious Empanada, Grub StrEAT, Mamay’s Ihaw, Royal Tea Shots, Smoke Addict and Crispy Addict.

Mercato Centrale at Festival Mall Alabang operates from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., from Thursday to Sunday and will run until 31 December. Additionally, Filinvest’s Fora Mall Tagaytay will also host Mercato Centrale from September 4, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
