Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador recently commemorated the anniversary of the ABS-CBN series ‘Mars Ravelo’s Darna’ by sharing a series of throwback photos on her Instagram account.
Salvador fondly reminisced about some of her most cherished memories from her time filming the classic superheroine show alongside the lead star, Jane de Leon.
The actress took to her social media account to share her reflections, mentioning that she had come across some ‘Darna’ snapshots that she had forgotten to post. This was in reference to the show’s premiere back in August of the previous year.

In the hit series, Salvador made her mark by portraying the iconic character ‘Valentina,’ the arch-nemesis of Darna, and she left a lasting impression on the audience with her remarkable acting skills.
Through a series of photos and videos, Salvador gave her fans a sneak peek into her preparations for the role of Valentina, shared some lighthearted moments from in between takes, and even offered glimpses of behind-the-scenes action after shooting.
The ‘Darna’ primetime series initially hit the airwaves on August 15, 2022, and it concluded its run on February 10, 2023.
Recently, the multi-talented actress was involved in the creation of the film ‘Under Parallel Skies,’ in which she worked alongside Thai actor Win Metawin. The movie, directed by the award-winning Filipino director Sigrid Bernardo, explores themes of love, heartbreak, and healing as it follows the story of a man grappling with a painful past. Shot in the captivating backdrop of Hong Kong, the film is expected to take audiences on an emotional journey.
