Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda appears to be preparing to file a lawsuit in connection with the recent accident that occurred early Sunday, August 20.
During an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, Vice did not specify whether he would be suing the truck driver who collided with his car and several other vehicles, the company that employs the driver, or any other party involved.
However, Vice emphasized his sympathy for the driver. According to him, while they were at the police precinct, the driver was being “passed around” by the company he worked for and the truck’s contractor.
He hopes that both parties do not abandon the unfortunate driver. Nevertheless, Vice also mentioned that he would be filing a complaint because someone needs to be held accountable for what happened.
“Oo tama kasalanan naman talaga ng driver ‘di ba, pero nakakaawa rin. Paano niya sasagutin ‘yong Cadillac, at Mercedes Benz at may dalawa pa siyang nabangga… paano ‘yon? Kaya pakiusap ko, sana tulungan naman nila yung driver. Tulungan ng contractor niya… tutal malaking kompanya naman ‘yon…”
“Ako rin magsasampa rin, kasi hindi naman puwedeng ganon-ganon lang ‘di ba? Someone is accountable. Kung ‘yong driver man… pero sana bigyan naman ng assistance ng [kompanya] at contractor niya, huwag namang iwanan nang mag-isa ‘yong driver. Kaya nga sabi ko, tutulong lang ba sila o magbibigay lang ba sila ng reaksiyon kung may namatay?” Vice stated.
Meanwhile, there has been no response or statement from the company that employs the driver or the mentioned truck contractor regarding the incident.
