‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ maintains wide lead vs. ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’

After emerging victorious in its battle against its latest Kapuso rival during the pilot week, ABS-CBN’s ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ maintained a substantial lead in its ratings.

According to the most recent ratings data from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ continued to dominate over ‘Maging Sino Ka Man (MSKM),’ securing a significant margin in their ratings.

On Monday, September 18, FPJBQ achieved an impressive rating of 16.4 percent, surpassing MSKM by a substantial 5 percent margin, which stood at 11.4 percent.

The following day, Tuesday, the Kapamilya action drama teleserye once again secured the top position with a rating of 16.4 percent, widening its lead even further to 5.3 percent, as MSKM managed only 11.1 percent.

Notably, FPJBQ had previously triumphed over MSKM during its pilot week as well.

On Monday, September 11, MSKM’s premiere episode suffered a setback, with FPJBQ leading at 15.9 percent compared to MSKM’s 11.4 percent.

On Tuesday, September 12, FPJBQ extended its lead, achieving its highest rating to date at 16.8 percent, while MSKM trailed at 11.9 percent.

Wednesday, September 13, saw FPJBQ once again win the timeslot with 15.7 percent ratings against MSKM’s 11.3 percent.

Thursday, September 14, highlighted the dominance of the Coco Martin-led teleserye, as it secured 16.0 percent in ratings compared to MSKM’s 11.0 percent.

And by Friday, September 15, FPJBQ ended the week on a high note with 16.1 percent in ratings versus MSKM’s 11.1 percent.

With this consistent rating trend, it appears that MSKM will face a formidable challenge in narrowing the gap or making a comeback.

However, it’s worth noting that MSKM is top-billed by GMA Network’s popular new team-up, BarDa (Barbie Forteza and David Licauco), who could potentially mount a comeback at any point.
