‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ lead star Jillian Ward has been bestowed with the title ‘Star of the New Gen.’ In response to this newfound recognition, the actress expressed her sentiments.
Jillian Ward, renowned as the Sparkle star and the leading actress of the series ‘Abot-Kamay na Pangarap,’ has extended her profound appreciation for the overwhelming support their afternoon prime series has garnered.
“Lahat po kami, sobrang thankful po kay God. Thankful din po kami sa isa’t-isa, sa lahat po sa bumubuo sa show, sa GMA, sa mga sumusuporta po sa amin,” Jillian conveyed during an interview with Lhar Santiago for ‘Chika Minute’ on ’24 Oras.’
She added, “Iba po kasi talaga e, parang may magic po dito sa taping, sobrang saya po naming lahat.”
Although the cast revels in the success of their medical series, Jillian acknowledges the substantial pressure they face.
“Kasi siyempre kailangan po kada episode, kada may ilalabas po kami, dapat mas nahihigitan po namin ‘yung sarili namin,” she elucidated.
Recently, ‘Abot-Kamay na Pangarap’ commemorated its anniversary, and Jillian disclosed what viewers can anticipate in the series, including the crossover of her character, Doc Analyn, into the primetime mystery-thriller series ‘Royal Blood.’
Aside from marking the first anniversary of the series, Jillian also celebrated her new title, ‘Star of the New Gen.’ When asked about her feelings regarding this recognition, she responded, “Nakakagulat nga po siya!”
“Ewan ko po, hindi po kasi ako sanay talaga sa mga ganyan, lagi po akong nagugulat. Kumbaga, hindi ko po in-e-expect kung ano man po ‘yung dumarating. Basta nag-e-enjoy lang po ako at binibigay ko ‘yung best ko,” the actress said.
Jillian also shared her joy in singing and dancing live on stage now. Nevertheless, she clarified that she still holds a deep affection for acting.
“Sobrang mahal ko po ‘yung acting, ito po ‘yung ginagawa ko buong buhay ko. Pero kasi po ‘pag nasa stage po ako, ‘yun din po talaga ‘yung time na nakaka-connect po ako with my supporters,” she expressed.
