During a live selling session hosted by Mariel Padilla, an accidental exposure of her husband, Senator Robin Padilla, occurred, as his private part was inadvertently revealed.
The incident took place during a live selling event on September 23, 2023, where Mariel and Robin were promoting a food supplement product that they both endorse.
In the video footage of the live session, Robin can be seen preparing the food supplement, vigorously shaking it in a drinking container. Unexpectedly, he bent down, and it became evident that he was not wearing any underwear beneath his thobe, a traditional Muslim robe.
The video clip capturing this accidental exposure quickly went viral on various social media platforms.
PEP.ph reached out to Mariel for her reaction to the widely circulated video of her husband’s inadvertent exposure.
Mariel responded through Facebook messaging, stating, “I find na hindi naman kailangan pag-usapan. So, hindi na kailangan mag-comment pa.”
As of now, Robin Padilla has not issued any statement or response regarding the incident.
This incident is not the first time that Robin Padilla has experienced accidental exposure. In 2011, he publicly apologized for a controversial scene involving “boxer shorts” featured in a documentary that chronicled his love story with Mariel.
The documentary, titled ‘Iisang Landas: Ang Kuwentong Pag-Ibig ni Robin at Mariel,’ was released by ABS-CBN. During that time, Robin acknowledged the situation, saying, “Patawad po sa mga na-offend. Sa mga natuwa naman po ay salamat. Pero hindi po namin intensiyon yun na ganoon. Kasi sa katunayan ay ngayon lang po ako nakitang naka-boxer shorts. Twenty-five years na po ako sa pelikulang Pilipino at talagang ngayon lang ito naganap. Siguro talagang kailangan na talaga akong mag-underwear.”
