On September 18, Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo addressed how he would respond if he ever met his ex again after he got married.
During the ‘Love Before Sunrise’ Press Con at SM Megamall Cinema 2, which LionhearTV covered, Trillo said he would assess whether rekindling an old flame with his ex would be worth ending his current relationship.
“Kung tatanungin ko kung magkita man ulit, di ba? Matagal na magkasintahan tapos may kanya-kanya na kaming mga personal na buhay. Siguro tatanungin ko kung worth it pa ba kung iri-risk mo ‘to. Siguro kung talagang mahal mo siya, kung ‘yun ‘yung magpapaligaya sa akin, baka itry ko, pero kung hindi naman, magiging sakit lang siya sa ulo, hindi ko na lang gagawin di ba?”
He also jokingly revealed one of his ‘what ifs’ in life, referring to one of his previous roles.
“Siguro kapag may what if ka parang may pagsisi sa buhay na hindi mo nagawa di ba? Ako siguro di masyado maka-relate kaya siguro ang what if ko ay, ‘What if naging bading ako sa totoong buhay?’ Siguro– ang saya siguro nun di ba? Parang ang landi ko sigurong bakla, ang dami ko sigurong boyfriends.”

Trillo is in a loving marriage with his fellow Kapuso star, Jennylyn Mercado. The couple tied the knot in November 2021.
As for his upcoming series, ‘Love Before Sunrise’Â stars Bea Alonzo, Trillo, Andrea Torres, and Sid Lucero.
Trillo also admitted that he felt ‘starstrucked’ working with Alonzo again after 20 years.
“Siguro di mawawala ‘yung ilang talaga, pero ako, noong first day namin, sobrang nerbiyos ko din, sobrang kaba ko. Nais-star struck ako eh, everytime na may eksena ako sa totoo lang. Kaya kapag nasa taping ako chine-check ko ‘yung break down gano karami ‘yung eksena. Ibig sabihin talagang kailangan galingan doon sa eksena na ‘yun dahil– dahil ano eh, Bea Alonzo, Box Office Queen.”
The cast also features Sef Cadayona, Rodjun Cruz, Vaness del Moral, Vince Maristela, Jose Sarasola, Cheska Fausto, Tetchie Agbayani, Ricky Davao, Jackie Lou Blanco, Isay Alvarez, Nadia Montenegro, and Matet de Leon.
The GMA Network-Viu Philippines produced series, under the direction of Mark Sicat Dela Cruz, airs on GMA Telebabad starting September 25, with weekly 48-hour early episodes through the streaming app Viu starting September 23.
