On October 14, Kapamilya stars Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz recounted how they got offered their hosting stints in ‘It’s Your Lucky Day.’
In an exclusive interview with the Kapamilya host, which LionhearTV covered, Fedelin detailed how the ABS-CBN heads surprised them with the offer of hosting ‘It’s Your Lucky Day.’
“Una pinatawag po kami as in biglaan lang, as in biglaan lang din po. Tapos hindi namin alam kung para saan tapos hindi namin alam kung sino ‘yung mga kasama namin dito.
“Tapos ‘yung lahat na kami na nasa isang ano na –sa isang kwarto na, nag meeting na na ‘yun nga po ganito ‘yung mangyayari, ‘yun nga po parang, ‘Wow, grabe, sa dami ng kapwa namin artista na kaya mag-host, eh kami ‘yung pinagkatiwalaan ng ABS na pansamantalang pumalit sa ‘It’s Showtime,’ which is malaking bagay po sa amin.”
Diaz appreciated the support they got from the Kapamilya-Kapuso audience when they took on the hosting stint.
“Nakakatuwa po kasi nakikita namin ‘yung mga thoughts nila, ‘yung mga tweets nila sa Twitter, opo nag-trending rin po ang ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ sila ate Melai, sila ate Jennica din po, nakikita namin, nakakatuwa po kasi grabe ‘yung suporta nila. ‘Yung tipong kahit hindi namin sila nakikita ng harapan, ramdam namin ‘yung pagmamahal nila kahit malayo sila sa amin.”
‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ temporarily takes over the noontime slot for ‘It’s Showtime’ as they serve the 12-day suspension order from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
