Manang Medina is Layla, a call center agent renting at an old house owned by Ruby Ruiz’s character, Manay Flor, a religious aged woman. Also living in the house is Manay Flor’s grandson Popoy, portrayed by Itan Rosales.
As they live under the same roof, Layla and Popoy get to talk and eventually take an interest in each other, and they end up sleeping together. Their relationship and sexcapades continue, but they keep it discreet and hide it from Manay Flor. Unknown to them, Manay Flor has long been observing them, constantly peeping through the holes in the wall and listening to the restrained groans and squeals during Layla and Poppy’s lovemaking.
Manay Flor also believes that Layla is a bad influence on Popoy and the devil’s spawn meant to bring evil to her and her grandson. With this, she will break them off and push Layla away.
