ABS-CBN unveiled fresh teasers for ‘Linlang: The Teleserye Version,’ revealing a significant change in the official timeslot.
The highly anticipated series is set to debut on January 22, 2024, at 8:45 PM, directly following ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
Contrary to expectations, the adjustment sparked surprise and disappointment among viewers, especially fans of the DonBelle tandem. The official timeslot change means ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ will relinquish its previous schedule, raising questions and concerns among loyal followers.
‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ featuring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, had been performing well in the second slot, consistently outshining its competitor on GMA Network. Fans argue that the series, still to be fully aired, perfectly caters to a younger audience, making the abrupt switch puzzling and disheartening.
Expressing their dismay, fans initiated the hashtag “#CBMLSameTimeSlot” on social media, highlighting their dissatisfaction with ABS-CBN’s decision to alter the successful formula of ‘Can’t Buy Me Love.’

I don’t agree with the move to place CBML on the third slot. Ang theme ng Linlang should be on the 3rd slot. Also the ratings of CBML has been consistent. Amongst all the shows ABS had at the 2nd slot sila ang pinaka mataas. Hay Ewan talaga sa management. 🤦♀️
