The finale mediacon for the teleserye ‘Pira-Pirasong Paraiso’ took an unexpected turn when veteran actress Rosanna Roces shared a playful encounter with co-star Joseph Marco.
The revelation occurred during a lively Facebook Live session held at ABS-CBN Studio 10.
The discussion about experiences with Gen Z actors in the series led Osang (Rosanna Roces) to mention the camaraderie she shares with Joseph Marco, her former co-star from ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.’
“E, ipinakikita naman kasi nila sa akin, e. Tinitingnan ko naman siyempre. Ha-hahahaha! Pero walang malisya ‘yun,” Rosanna disclosed with laughter, referencing a specific part of Joseph’s anatomy, as she glanced at him. The unexpected revelation left the audience and fellow actress Snooky Serna surprised, prompting Snooky to discreetly inquire if it was true, to which Rosanna confirmed.
Recounting the incident, Rosanna explained, “He was sunbathing, and I was eating. I told him, ‘Seph, there’s rice here, but where’s the viand?’ (laughs while scrutinizing Joseph). It’s just a small portion anyway; there’s nothing malicious about it.”
Upon recalling that the mediacon was being streamed on Facebook Live, Rosanna stopped herself from delving further into the story. However, after the mediacon, she shared more details with the press, describing the lighthearted moment between her and Joseph.
“Nagsa-sunbathing siya no’n, e, kumakain ako. Sabi ko, ‘Seph kanin lang ‘to wala bang ulam (tumatawang sabi habang sinisipat-sipat ang aktor) kapiranggot lang naman ‘wag mo nang ipagdamot! Tapos ipinakita, napasubo naman ako (ng kinakain niya)! Ha-hahaha! Sakto lang,” she narrated with laughter.
Rosanna clarified that the incident was all in good fun and emphasized the familial bond they share, considering Joseph Marco as part of her extended family. She remarked, “Hindi mo iisipin na gnau’n siya kabait, ganu’n siya ka-cowboy kasi di ba, heartthrob ang ano niya (imahe), sosyal pa-English-English pero pag kayo-kayo lang, ang bait ‘yan.”
Joseph, known for his amiable personality, had a simple response to the playful revelation. “Si Ms. O, sobrang mabait talaga at maalaga, kapag gusto ka niya, kasi black and white ‘yan kapag ayaw ka niya, ayaw niya, kapag gusto ka, gusto ka talaga. Ms. O strike 2 na ako sa ‘yo, pangalawang beses mo na akong pinatay sa serye (nabuking na napatay siya sa PPP).”
The revelation sparked laughter among those present, especially considering that the mentioned scene had not yet aired in the series.
Osang jokingly added, “Oo, ako rin dito ang pumatay, sabi ko bumawi ka na lang sa susunod (na seryeng pagsasamahan nila) sa akin.”
When asked if Joseph Marco was “well-endowed,” Rosanna playfully responded, “Ha-hahaha! Sakto lang.”
‘Pira-Pirasong Paraiso’ is a co-production series between ABS-CBN and TV5, directed by Raymund Ocampo and Roderick Lindayag. The show, currently in its final two weeks, follows the Paraiso sisters as they strive to rebuild their family, facing new challenges and seeking revenge against their adversaries.
