During a recent press conference, Xyriel Manabat and Andrea Brillantes, stars of the series ‘Senior High,’ expressed their openness to working together in a girls’ love (GL) series.

When asked about the prospect of being paired with a female co-star, Manabat shared that she feels more comfortable working with another female artist. She expressed a preference for on-screen scenes, including kissing scenes, with a female partner, citing a sense of comfort, fewer issues, and less hassle.

Manabat even teased Brillantes about the possibility of collaborating on a girls’ love series.

Brillantes confirmed her interest in a girls’ love series, emphasizing the need for more shows depicting lesbian love compared to the abundance of Boys’ Love (BL) series. She expressed her comfort in working on such a project with her best friend, highlighting their shared acting skills and the potential for mutual growth.
Manabat and Brillantes join a growing list of Kapamilya actresses expressing their openness to participate in GL projects.
‘Senior High’ continues to air new episodes Monday to Friday at 9:30 p.m. on various platforms, including Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and TFC.
