Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Unveils Majestic ‘Dragon Dynasty’ Chinese New Year Decorations

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, an award-winning premier shopping destination located in the heart of Malaysia’s Bukit Bintang shopping district, proudly announces its breathtaking Chinese New Year decorations, transforming the mall into a realm of majestic dragons and auspicious symbolism. Entitled ‘Dragon Dynasty’, this year’s campaign promises an immersive experience for visitors, celebrating the Year of the Dragon in grand style.

The centrepiece of Pavilion KL’s ‘Dragon Dynasty’ campaign is the awe-inspiring sight of two magnificent golden dragons gracefully descending from auspicious clouds into the mall’s Centre Court. Standing as guardians of a precious oriental pearl, these dragons symbolise blessings of wealth, good luck, and happiness, embodying the spirit of new beginnings and prosperity.

The unique design of the dragon is based on extensive research to achieve its majestic yet prosperous look. Crafted with meticulous detail, the two descending golden dragons exhibit eye-catching colours that are vibrant during the day and lit vividly at night, creating a beautiful backdrop for shoppers who visit the shopping mall any time of the day. Measuring 60 metres and 32.4 metres long for the top and bottom dragons respectively, they are made with a fabric-instilled structure wrapped with LED lighting. The other two dragons placed on the ground measure 22 metres each, made with fabric-instilled bodies and paper dragon heads supported by a rattan structure. These majestic creatures were meticulously engineered to create the illusion of flight, ensuring a memorable experience for all shoppers.

Pavilion KL’s dedication to innovation is evident in its incorporation of movement, illusions of flight, and glistening lights throughout the decorations. Shoppers can also experience a captivating 3D dragon advertisement on Pavilion Elite and Fahrenheit88 LED screens outside the mall to further enhance the immersive journey.
