Popular bands like December Avenue and Agsunta, and trendy Filipino singer-songwriter Arthur Nery will perform on Labor Beats this coming April 27.
Labor’s Day is annually celebrated by 60 countries, making May 1 a holiday for most. This celebration proudly recognizes all workers for their hard work and contributions in the society, especially in the Philippines, who has 48.95 million employed persons based on the Philippine Statistic Authority survey for February 2024.
Hence, Southwoods Mall sees the opportunity to give back to the community in the incoming holiday by creating an OPM-tracked concert with artists that became known for their songs as an anthem for most Filipinos.
In addition, December Avenue is known for their songs, ‘Kahit ‘di Mo Alam’ & ‘Sa Ngalan ng Pagibig’, and Arthur Nery for ‘Pagsamo’. Agsunta, then, was known for their cover songs on YouTube until they became a mainstream band with hit songs ‘Kahit Kunwari Man Lang’ and ‘Kung ‘Di Na Ako’ with 20 millions of plays on Spotify.
Everyone is invited to join the music festival with just Php 300 for the entrance fee. This event is co-presented by Cignal TV and Cignal Play while it is sponsored by PLDT Home and Smart Communications.
