The Kapamilya romantic-drama thriller series “Can’t Buy Me Love” dominated the ratings game in its final week on air.

According to the latest ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, CBML recorded high ratings during its final week, outperforming its Kapuso rival, “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko (ANAK).”

On Monday, May 6, the DonBelle series achieved a total rating of 7.3 percent, securing the number 9 position on the overall ratings chart. Its rival program, ANAK, garnered a 6.3 percent rating, placing it at number 11 on the leaderboard.

On Tuesday, May 7, CBML slightly dropped to the number 10 spot with a 6.0 percent rating, 0.8 percent lower than ANAK, which received a 6.8 percent rating and climbed to the number 10 spot.

The Kapamilya primetime teleserye however quickly rebounded on Wednesday, May 8, recording an 8.0 percent rating, 2.2 percent higher than ANAK’s 5.8 percent.

CBML continued to soar in its penultimate episode on Thursday, May 9, rising to the number 8 position with a rating of 8.3 percent, again 2.2 percent higher than the rival Kapuso program, which registered a 6.1 percent rating and took the number 11 position on the ratings chart.

In its finale episode on Friday, May 10, CBML ended its broadcast with an 8.5 percent rating, almost double that of its competitor, ‘Amazing Earth,’ which received a rating of only 4.3 percent, resulting in a 4.2 percent rating gap.

CBML concluded with the wedding of Bingo and Ling, attended by their family and friends. Bettina was imprisoned after confessing to the murder of Ling’s mother, Divine.
