Megastar Sharon Cuneta is set to make her highly anticipated return to primetime television with ABS-CBN’s new series ‘Saving Grace,’ an adaptation of the popular Japanese drama ‘Mother.’
The announcement was made by Dreamscape Entertainment on Tuesday.
Cuneta will be joined by a star-studded cast, including Sam Milby, Janice de Belen, Jennica Garcia, and Christian Bables. The series also marks the return of actress Julia Montes to primetime TV. Both Cuneta and Montes previously starred in the hit series ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ which concluded in 2022.
Janice de Belen, Jennica Garcia, and Christian Bables recently appeared together in the primetime show ‘Dirty Linen,’ which ended in August 2023. Sam Milby was last seen in the 2022 ABS-CBN series ‘A Family Affair.’

‘Saving Grace’ is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Studios and Nippon TV, Japan’s leading entertainment network. The original series, ‘Mother,’ has seen global success as Asia’s most exported scripted format, with adaptations in countries such as Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, China, France, Spain, Mongolia, and Saudi Arabia.
