Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas once again took a swipe at someone she referred to as a “cheater,” fueling speculations about her estranged husband, Gerald Sibayan.
The veteran actress shared a cryptic post on her Facebook page, revealing that the person she was referring to had allegedly purchased a ring—hinting at an engagement—even though they are still legally married.
“SI CHEATER BUMILI NG RING? AY WOW PANG ENGAGED NA? HUH DIVORCE NA BA SILA NI WIFEY? NYEK HINDI PA NO!” read the image she posted.
Adding more intrigue, Aiai captioned the post with: “Sabi ng mga soldiers … Sana OL .. pagkakasyahin ko sa leeg nya.”
Although she did not directly name anyone, netizens quickly speculated that she was referring to Gerald, with many urging her not to sign the divorce papers to prevent him from remarrying. Some even suggested revoking his green card.
Previously, Aiai hinted that Gerald was already in a new relationship, which could have led to their split. The actress expressed her shock that his alleged new partner is also a Filipina.
In another post, she shared a pointed quote about infidelity: “NO WOMAN COULD LOVE A CHEATER AND NOT PAY THE PRICE OF IT.”
She then elaborated further on Facebook and Instagram, detailing alleged sightings of Gerald with his rumored new partner:
March 2024 – Seen at Gerry’s Grill, with the woman leaning on his shoulder.
June 2024 – Spotted near a Jollibee branch in Fremont, California, holding hands with the same woman.
“Lalakas ng loob ahhh puro Filipino establishments at California IDOL!!! GOAT! (Greatest of All Time),” she quipped sarcastically.
Aiai confirmed her separation from Gerald last November in an interview with Boy Abunda, revealing that their marriage officially ended in October.
“Hiwalay na kami. Last month pa. Basta hindi ko makakalimutan. October 14, nag-chat siya, ta’s madaling araw sa Pilipinas. ‘Yun nga. Sinabi niya na gusto niya magkaanak at hindi na siya happy,” she shared on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’.
She admitted she was shocked and confused by the sudden decision, especially with the timing of the message.
“So medyo confused ako and shocked, and bakit ngayon? Bakit ngayong oras na ‘to? Sana hinintay mo man lang ako makauwi sa Amerika,” she added.
