Mayor Marcy Teodoro and his wife, Marikina 1st District Rep. Maan Teodoro, celebrated Valentine’s Day with an intimate dinner alongside couples who won the #Marikina2gether Valentines Photo Contest.
Rep. Teodoro shared photos from the celebration on her Facebook page, describing it as a night of fun, music, and a celebration of love.
The Teodoros also took time to listen as the winning couples shared their love stories, reflecting on the different journeys that brought them together.
“Iba-iba man ang kwento at pinanggalingan, iisa ang patutunguhan—ang pagmamahal na nakaugat sa Marikina,” she stated in the caption.
Vivian Diego-Bartolome’s photo was adjudged as the best entry, winning her the P20,000 first prize.
In the caption, she shared her unexpected love story with her now-husband, Mharvic Bartolome.
The couple first met in 2018 while Vivian was on duty as a Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina (PLMar) student volunteer at the Sports Center at the height of the southwest monsoon, or “Habagat,” in Marikina in 2018.
“Nagkakilala kami dahil friend siya ng isa kong friend sa PLMar na kasama ko sa duty that time. Nag-start sa bigayan ng pagkain, tuksuhan, kulitan, ligawan, puntahan sa kanya-kanyang campus,” she explained.
The couple tied the knot in 2022 and are now proud parents to a baby girl. “Love found me at the most unexpected time, proving that timing is simply destiny’s plan,” she said.
Meanwhile, Jerilyn Guinto and Catherine Sandoval Sales placed second and third, winning P10,000 and P5,000, respectively.
Other winners who received a dinner date with the Teodoros included Kristine Joyce Nono Collado, Ai Caparino, Leah Sablayan Bulay-og, Nelson Bernardo, Jovy Durian, Joan Casimiro Bosonga, Jennica Rose Angeles Malonzo, Mylene Pedron Lanzaderas, Richard Sanchez, and Sedena Edmon.
