Rain or Shine Elasto Painters player Caelan Tiongson has addressed the growing speculation linking him to BINI member Aiah Arceta after she was spotted attending one of his games in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals.
In an interview with News5, Tiongson clarified how he met the P-pop idol but emphasized his respect for her privacy.
“I met her through a mutual friend, and she’s a great person. But I’m not gonna speak on her personal life any more than that,” Tiongson stated.
The 32-year-old forward also revealed that he is a big fan of BINI and enjoys their music.
“I love BINI; I am a big Bloom fan; I love their music,” he said, referencing the official fandom name of the group’s supporters.
Speculations about the two intensified after Aiah was seen watching one of Tiongson’s games, fueling rumors of a possible connection between them. Meanwhile, eagle-eyed fans also noticed that Tiongson attended BINI’s concert at the Philippine Arena last month, alongside his teammate Felix Pangilinan-Lemetti.
While Tiongson did not confirm nor deny the nature of their relationship, his statements have only sparked more curiosity among fans.
As of now, Aiah Arceta has yet to release a statement regarding the rumors.
