VMX actor Rash Flores has broken his silence regarding a leaked private video featuring him, which has been circulating online and is allegedly being sold for a high price.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph on Thursday, February 27, Rash confirmed that he is indeed the man in the controversial footage and explained how the video was taken without his knowledge.
Rash shared that he met a woman through social media and was invited by her to meet up, which eventually led to the incident in question.
“Inimbitahan lang ako ng girl, nag-chat siya sa akin [sa social media]. Matagal na po ‘yong video na yan, March of last year, tapos inilabas nila nung December 2024.”
Although he no longer remembers the woman’s name, he recalled that she was older than him.
“Sakto lang po ang hitsura niya. Mas matanda siya sa akin, parang thirty years old na siya.”
According to the actor, their meeting took place at a hotel in Quezon City, and he was completely unaware that he was being filmed.
“As in hindi niya sinabi na may [hidden camera]. Hindi ko expected na may ganoon. Hindi rin ako sure kung siya ang nagkalat ng video o ibinenta niya.”
Rash was alerted when he started receiving anonymous messages regarding the circulation of the video. Some even sent him details, including a name and GCash number of the person allegedly selling the footage.
“May iba na kasing nagkakalat ngayon, may nag-send sa akin ng pangalan at GCash number ng nagbebenta. Ang mahal po ng presyo nila.”
The actor admitted that he was caught off guard by the leak and strongly regrets the incident.
Now facing intense public scrutiny, Rash is contemplating legal action to determine who is responsible for the unauthorized distribution of the video.
“Gusto ko talagang linisin ang pangalan ko.”
While he has not yet confirmed if he will pursue charges, Rash assured that he is taking the necessary steps to protect his privacy and reputation.
