Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan cast his vote early today, May 12, at Inchican Elementary School in Silang, Cavite, and used the opportunity to encourage fellow registered voters to fulfill their civic duty before polls close at 7 p.m.
“May time pa. Please go to your (voting) precincts,” he said in a message to those who haven’t voted yet.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Donny emphasized the importance of voting, saying:
“It’s very important to exercise your right to vote. So I’m very happy na andito ako kasama ng pamilya ko. Dasal na lang, dasal na lang para sa Pilipinas.”
The actor also stressed the need for thoughtful decision-making during elections: “Elections is one of the things we must really do our research. Syempre isipin po natin ang ating kinabukasan.”

“Please exercise your right to vote. It’s very importante that every vote counts — siguro kung hindi ako bumoto, wala namang effect ‘yan, pero hindi eh. Kasi lahat tayo talaga, lahat ng voice natin matters to make a difference sa ating bansa.”
Donny is among the young celebrities who have shown active involvement in this year’s elections. Notably, his uncle, Kiko Pangilinan, is seeking a Senate comeback.
