The partnership comes at a time when the pet care market in the Philippines is experiencing significant growth. The 2024 Kantar Philippines survey reveals that 94% of Filipino households own at least one pet, marking the highest pet ownership rate in Southeast Asia, with dogs (68% of pet owners) and cats (42% of pet owners) being the most common companions. Despite this high ownership rate, the Philippines has lagged behind other countries in pet insurance adoption, making this partnership particularly timely.
