As summer heats up, GMA Network, through its regional arm GMA Regional TV, turns up the excitement a notch higher as it brings some of the hottest Kapuso stars to the grandest festivals and celebrations in various regions across the country.
The exciting month of March kicked off with a splash at the 2025 Iloilo-Guimaras Paraw Regatta Festival last March 2. “Binibining Marikit” stars Herlene Budol and Kevin Dasom, together with Sparkle artist Shan Vesagas, brought joy and entertainment to their fans in Iloilo City.
GMA Regional TV then headed to Mindanao, where Sparkle artists Luke Conde and Paul Salas shared their vibrant energy at the 16th Bulad Festival in General Santos City last March 8.
Luzon also felt the Kapuso love with the participation of Jak Roberto, Maxine Medina, Juancho Triviño, Gazini Ganados, and Martin Javier at the highly anticipated Miss Paniqui 2025 pageant in Paniqui, Tarlac last March 14.
The festivities continued in Paniqui as Carla Abellana, EA Guzman, Larkin Castor, and Tala Gatchalian graced the Paniqui Fiesta 2025 last March 15. Bringing fun to the celebration were “Mommy Dearest” stars Shayne Sava and Riel Lomadilla, “Mga Batang Riles” cast members Raheel Bhyria and Jay Arcilla, and Kapuso host Kaloy Tingcungco.
Meanwhile, Pangasinenses welcomed “My Ilonggo Girl” stars Jillian Ward, Yasser Marta, Arra San Agustin, and Lianne Valentin for a lively Kapuso Mall Show in San Carlos City last March 18.
GMA Regional TV also participated in the Ulat sa Bayan event of Tarlac City last March 21. Sparkle artists John Rex, Jessica Villarubin, and Mariane Osabel entertained the crowd with their grand vocal display.
The fun-filled regional events continued in Negros Occidental as Elijah Alejo, Mike Tan, Juancho Triviño, and Angela Alarcon brought good vibes to the 27th Kadalag-an Festival of Victorias City last March 22.
Kapuso stars Yasser Marta, Althea Ablan, Cheska Fausto, and John Rex further spread the festive cheer in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental for the Magayon Hinuptanan Festival 2025 last March 25.
Meanwhile, Zamboanga City was treated to an entertaining Kapuso Mall Show last March 29, featuring “Mga Batang Riles” stars Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland, and Anton Vinzon.
April sizzles
As April rolled in, GMA Regional TV continued to paint smiles across the Philippines.
Kapuso artists Maxine Medina, Tom Rodriguez, and Anjo Pertierra brought their charm to the Hangaway Kag Lin-ay Sang Capiz of Roxas City, Capiz last April 3.
More surprises were in store for Capiznons as Carla Abellana, Paul Salas, Luke Conde, and Hannah Precillas graced Roxas City’s Capiztahan 2025 celebration last April 5.
A star-studded Kapuso Fiesta brought a ray of sunshine to the Pangasinenses with the surprises from “Slay” cast Julie Anne San Jose, Ysabel Ortega, Derrick Monasterio, Jay Ortega, and Gil Cuerva. Joining them in bringing good vibes to the Pistay Dayat in Lingayen last April 6 were Sparkle stars John Rex, Rocco Nacino, and Chloe Redondo, with Kapuso Host Pepita Curtis.
Sparkle artist EA Guzman, meanwhile, joined the PangaSine 2025 in Lingayen, Pangasinan last April 10. Pangasinan likewise welcomed Tom Rodriguez and Arra San Agustin for the Miss San Carlos City pageant last April 12.
The Kapuso festivities in Pangasinan continued with San Carlos City’s Mango Bamboo Festival 2025 last April 22 with “Binibining Marikit” stars Herlene Budol, Kevin Dasom, and Tony Labrusca, and “Mommy Dearest” artists Shayne Sava and Prince Carlos. Together with them were “Pepito Manaloto” stars Jake Vargas, Sophia Señoron, and Tony Lopeña, and Sparkle artists John Rex and Cheska Fausto.
Last April 24, fans were all delighted to see Kristoffer Martin, Juancho Triviño, Ahron Villena, and Pepita Curtis as they graced the Kinalipay sa Isabela in Isabela, Negros Occidental.
The following evening, April 25, Lingayen, Pangasinan witnessed a gathering of beauty and talent at the Limgas na Pangasinan 2025. The crowd cheered for Carla Abellana, Rabiya Mateo, Bea Gomez, Anjo Pertierra, and Ronnie Liang as they added sparkle to the much anticipated pageant.
Food lovers were in for a treat on the morning of April 27 at the Ponsia: The Pangasinan Culinary Challenge in Lingayen, Pangasinan. Chef Jose Sarasola and Vaness Del Moral shared their skills and positive energy to the exciting culinary showdown.
Capping off the string of star-studded events was the vibrant Kapuso Fiesta for Dagupan Bangus Festival 2025 in Dagupan City. Last April 30, the festival goers were thrilled to see a dazzling lineup of Kapuso personalities, including Ruru Madrid, Shaira Diaz, Martin Del Rosario, and Rocco Nacino from “Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila”; Herlene Budol from “Binibining Marikit”; Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay from “Prinsesa ng City Jail”; and Sparkle artists Boobay and Kaloy Tingcungco.
