Former Miss International Kylie Verzosa is getting candid about one beauty decision she now regrets—microblading her eyebrows and getting them tattooed.
In a refreshingly honest TikTok post, the beauty queen turned actress admitted that what once helped her through pageant life is now something she’s actively trying to reverse.

“Disclaimer, I’m not going to say it wasn’t helpful before. Because it was helpful before, especially when I was joining Binibining Pilipinas,” Kylie shared.
Now in her 30s, Kylie revealed that she’s undergoing sessions to remove the semi-permanent brow tattoos she had maintained for nearly a decade. While the decision to get them initially made sense during her pageant days, the long-term result—particularly the reddish hue that developed over time—has left her less than pleased.
“It’s not the best. She’s giving ‘red tattoo,’ like a tattoo on my face,” she said, zooming in on her brows for followers to see the uneven pigment.
Aside from discoloration, Kylie noted how her tattooed brows limited her ability to switch up her makeup looks, something especially important in her line of work.
“Maybe that’s why I look the same all the time,” she quipped.
She also didn’t sugarcoat the removal process: it’s painful, time-consuming, and still ongoing. Laser removal, the method she’s undergoing, is a common choice but not the easiest—particularly for cosmetic tattoos that age poorly.
Microblading has been a popular trend for years, but as Kylie points out, beauty fads change—and semi-permanent procedures don’t. While she doesn’t discourage others from trying it, she encourages people to really consider the long-term impact.
“It’s all personal preference. But maybe now, I’d rather just draw them on,” she hinted.
With her unfiltered take, Kylie joins the growing number of personalities being open about their beauty missteps—reminding everyone that not all enhancements age gracefully, and it’s okay to change your mind.
