It was the fangirl moment 15 years in the making.
Filipina drag queen and ‘Drag Den Philippines’ alum Lady Gagita finally met her idol, global pop icon Lady Gaga, during the latter’s ‘Mayhem’ concert in Singapore — her only stop in Southeast Asia.

The electrifying night became even more unforgettable when Gagita got a brief but powerful interaction with the pop superstar herself.
“We were happy just to be alive. Tonight is historical. I finally had my moment,” Gagita wrote in an emotional Instagram post, sharing a photo snapped during the concert. Dressed in full drag as Lady Gaga, the Filipino performer stood near the barricade when Gaga descended from the stage and approached fans — including her longtime impersonator.
A TikTok video uploaded by Filipino vlogger Justine Sy captured the full interaction. After Gagita’s selfie with her idol, the visibly emotional drag queen turned to the camera in disbelief: “We did it.” According to Sy, Lady Gaga even complimented Gagita’s outfit earlier in the show.
Fans and friends quickly flooded Gagita’s comment section with congratulations. “THIS IS YOUR MOMENT!!! You deserve it so much, my love,” one wrote. Fellow drag queen Marina Summers simply added, “SO HAPPY FOR YOUUU!”

In a separate post, Gagita shared a short video reflecting on the life-changing experience: “Waited for 15 years and now destiny happened. You have changed my life forever.”
Lady Gagita has long been celebrated in the Philippine drag community as one of the country’s most recognizable Lady Gaga impersonators. Her performances channel the pop diva’s larger-than-life aesthetic and spirit — a tribute that’s now been blessed with a personal encounter.
Also spotted in the concert crowd was Vice Ganda, who turned heads in a red thigh-high slit gown by designer Jaz Cerezo. The comedian was seen enjoying the show alongside other Filipino fans who flew in for the rare Asian leg of the “Mayhem” tour.
Lady Gaga’s Singapore concert marks her first in the city-state since 2012. She is scheduled for two more shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 21 and 24, before continuing her global “Mayhem” world tour.
