At just 23, Belle Mariano has already spent over half her life in the entertainment industry. But if you ask her what’s kept her grounded through the whirlwind of fame, she’ll tell you plainly: “Humility is the key to longevity”.

This reflection came during her contract renewal with ABS-CBN and Star Magic on August 18, 2025—a milestone that marked 14 years since she first stepped into the network’s dressing rooms as a child actor. “We were on standby earlier in a dressing room,” Belle recalled. “It felt like a full-circle moment because it was the same one I had for ‘Goin’ Bulilit,’ so everything came flashing back to me”.
Her voice trembled with emotion as she spotted her mother, Katrina, seated front and center. “I told myself I wouldn’t cry, but when I saw my mom right there, I couldn’t help it. She was there for me through it all”.
Belle’s humility isn’t just a personal mantra—it’s a trait admired by industry veterans. Director Cathy Garcia-Molina, who’s helming Belle’s upcoming film Meet, Greet & Bye, described her as “a sponge” with “the right attitude to just take in all the necessary experience.” What she appreciates most? “Her humility—that she has more to learn despite being good at what she does already”.
Belle herself echoed this in her speech: “Don’t be afraid to learn. Don’t think na magaling ka na, kasi kapag magaling ka na, hindi ka na mag-grow. So, there’s always room for growth in our industry”.
That hunger for growth is evident in her career choices. Meet, Greet & Bye marks her first major film outside the DonBelle love team. “I’m so used to working with Donny, and I love working with him, but at the same time, wow, this is something new. It’s time to spread my wings”.
She’s also eyeing more challenging roles. “I’ve never done anything na bida-kontrabida, horror… I won’t limit myself. I want to challenge myself”.
Beyond acting, Belle is nurturing her love for music. A new album is in the works, and she’s even teased a birthday concert. “I hope to be doing more roles that really challenge me as an actress. Maybe by that time I’ll have written a couple of songs, too”.
Her advice to aspiring artists? “Don’t let your fear stop you from pursuing what you love. Yes, you will fall, but you will also rise. Just keep believing and have the heart and faith in you, because you are capable of many things”.
Fame often favors the loudest voices—but Belle Mariano proves that consistency, grace, and a hunger to grow can be just as compelling.
