Potterheads during the first day of SM Cinema’s “Back to Hogwarts: A Harry Potter Movie Marathon.”
This August, Potterheads across the Philippines are invited to step into the wizarding world as SM Cinema presents “Back to Hogwarts: A Harry Potter Movie Marathon,” a magical four-day cinematic celebration featuring all eight (8) enchanting films from the beloved franchise.
The first weekend of the screenings is currently ongoing (August 16–17) and will continue again on August 30–31 at select SM Cinema branches nationwide. Moviegoers can enjoy the marathon for only ₱275 in Metro Manila and ₱230 in provincial branches per movie.
The screenings are scheduled as follows:
- August 16: “Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets”
- August 17: “Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban” and “Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire”
- August 30: “Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”
- August 31: “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1” and “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2”
Over 30 participating SM Cinema locations will take part in this magical journey including SM Aura, Bacolod, Bacoor, Baguio, BF Parañaque, Bicutan, Calamba, CDO Downtown, Cebu, Clark, Dasmariñas, East Ortigas, Iloilo, Lanang, Laoag, Legazpi, Lipa, Lucena, Mall of Asia, Manila, Marikina, Marilao, Masinag, Fairview, North EDSA, Pampanga, San Mateo, San Pablo, Seaside, Southmall, Sta. Mesa, Sta. Rosa, Sucat, Tarlac, Megamall, and Grand Central.

To make the experience as unforgettable as a trip to Hogsmeade, SM Cinema lobbies at Aura, Megamall, Mall of Asia, and North EDSA have been transformed into wizarding havens inspired by iconic “Harry Potter” movie elements.
The Butterbeer is available at Snack Time counters. A “Harry Potter” movie ticket is not required to purchase any of the limited-edition wizarding snacks.
Snack Time also unveiled Harry Potter-themed wizarding snacks like a limited-edition Butterbeer during the “Back to Hogwarts” run at Snack Time branches in SM North EDSA, Megamall, Fairview, Grand Central, Manila, Sta. Mesa, Mall of Asia, Aura, Southmall, Marikina, East Ortigas, Clark, Pampanga, Santa Rosa, and Bacoor.
The Sorting Hat interactive booth is free.
At the North EDSA SM Cinema branch, Potterheads can check out the “Sorting Hat Experience” interactive booth and Harry Potter-inspired photo spots. Fans also have a chance to win “Harry Potter” prizes by participating in trivia games.
