Actor Derek Ramsay has shut down fresh rumors about his marriage with Ellen Adarna after online personality Xian Gaza posted a blind item on Facebook hinting that a celebrity couple had allegedly separated.
On Monday morning, Sept. 29, Ramsay went on Instagram Stories to address the matter. “Good morning, guys. So, there’s this issue about Mr. Xian Gaza. I’ll just keep this very simple. There’s no truth to anything that was said. That’s it, guys,” Ramsay said in a video, recorded from his bed.
The clarification came after Gaza claimed in a series of posts that a “peso billionaire celebrity guy” and his “super famous celebrity wife” had parted ways. He further speculated about issues involving finances, prenup agreements, and child custody, though he did not directly name anyone.
Netizens, however, quickly speculated that the blind item referred to Ramsay and Adarna, fueling renewed chatter about the couple’s relationship.
In response, Ramsay kept his denial straightforward and chose not to engage further. He and Adarna, who tied the knot in 2021, have repeatedly debunked similar rumors in recent months.
Just last August, Ramsay refuted claims that his daughter Lily was not his biological child, while Adarna denied allegations that she had incurred “massive debts” and fled to the US, clarifying that she does not even have a US visa.
Despite the speculation, Ramsay’s Instagram page continues to feature recent family photos with Ellen and their children, including snaps from the birthday celebration of Elias, Adarna’s son with John Lloyd Cruz, held on Sept. 16.
