Australian powerhouse Restricted teams up with his Mexican counterpart Junkie Kid for their sinister new single, “Pump This Party”, out September 12 on REVIVE RECORDS. Pulsing at breakneck speed, the track fuses hammering percussion with distorted synths and commanding vocals – “Oh yeah, you want to rock now… Pump this Groove, Pump this Party.” It’s the kind of intense cut destined to both underground warehouses and mainstage festival rigs.
Fresh from a sold-out show at Wasteland in Los Angeles, where both Restricted and Junkie Kid performed, and Restricted’s stream of European appearances in Portugal, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy, Restricted is now back in North and South America to continue to channel the Industrial and Rawstyle energy that have made him one of the most in-demand names in electronic dance music today. Junkie Kid
Born in Mexico, Junkie Kid is an artist whose musical journey spans across continents, genres, and decades. From an early age, he immersed himself in the world of dance music, influenced by legendary DJs like Mauro Picotto, DJ Quicksilver, and DJ Sammy. This inspiration sparked his passion for music, leading him to begin producing his own tracks at just 16 years old. Over the years, he explored various styles, including techno, trance, hardstyle, house, and Dutch house. But it was a breakthrough moment when he created “Perfect,” a pioneering fusion of hardstyle, house, and dark melodies, giving birth to his signature genre – Neo-Hard House.
