Starting October 13, GMA Network brings two of its beloved primetime series—”TODA One I Love” and “Cain at Abel”—to Viu Philippines, giving audiences even more binge-worthy Kapuso content to stream for FREE.
GMA Network, the country’s top broadcast network, and Viu Philippines, a leading streaming service in the Asian market, continue to strengthen their partnership by making more Kapuso programs available to audiences looking for quality entertainment for their next binge-watch.
Leading the new line-up is the political romantic comedy “TODA One I Love” starring Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid and Kylie Padilla. Produced by GMA Public Affairs, the series explores the topsy-turvy politics within the Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association or TODA, an organization that upholds the rights and addresses various issues concerning tricycle operators and drivers, a popular means of public transportation in the Philippines.
Beyond exploring the themes of family and dreams, “TODA One I Love” is also a love story between Raymond “Emong” Generoso (Madrid) and Angela “Gelay” Dimagiba (Padilla), which is made even more compelling with the performance of Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco. As Kobe Generoso, he is a formidable romantic rival for Gelay’s heart.
Joining the cast are Gladys Reyes, Victor Neri, Jackie Rice, Kim Domingo, Tina Paner, Maureen Larrazabal, and Raymond Bagatsing, with the special participation of Allen Dizon.
Also premiering on Viu Philippines on October 13 is the gripping drama “Cain at Abel,” headlined by Kapuso royalties Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Drama King Dennis Trillo, alongside multi-talented Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff. Completing the powerhouse ensemble are Eddie Gutierrez, Chanda Romero, and Dina Bonnevie.
“Cain at Abel” follows the story of brothers Daniel and Miguel, who grew up in two very different worlds. A twist of fate separates them, with Miguel raised by their wealthy father while Daniel is taken by their mother, given the name of Elias, and relocated to a poor fishing village. Years later, the brothers find their way back into each other’s lives due to their mutual affections: the father who separated them, the mother they yearn for, and the woman they both love.
In addition to these titles, viewers can also enjoy other Kapuso shows already available on Viu Philippines, including “Encantadia,” “Widows’ Web,” “Hearts on Ice,” “Mga Lihim ni Urduja,” “Legal Wives,” “First Yaya” and many more. Stream TODA One I Love, Cain at Abel, and many more Kapuso favorites anytime, anywhere for FREE, only on Viu Philippines For more news and updates, visit www.GMANetwork.com.
